Bilingual, brains, and insults

In this episode...
I talk about my experience with learning and using English as a non-native language. Even though I feel comfortable speaking it, I don’t consider myself fully bilingual, since I wasn’t raised with English and only started learning it at school, which wasn’t very effective. Over time, especially while working in an international company, I gained confidence and realized how important daily practice and immersion are for improving.
I also reflect on how language learning has changed across generations in Poland, how I sometimes mix Polish and English in conversations, and how fascinating our brains are. Toward the end, I mention my thoughts on swearing, pronunciation quirks in English, and some humorous Polish expressions.
