Break the mold

Break the mold

This episode started with something unusual for me: I couldn’t come up with a title.

That small struggle turned into a bigger reflection on time, especially how winter slows life down and creates space for staying home and being creative.
I talked about winter routines, my cat’s vet visit, and how differently people experience the same season.

I also shared my excitement about finally seeing Halsey live in Berlin and why stories about how artists get discovered still give me hope.
At the same time, I questioned the idea of struggling creatives and compared it to everyday jobs that rarely lead to big breakthroughs.
That led me to reflect on work, adulthood, and the moment when you realize nothing will change unless you change it yourself.

I explained what blue-collar and white-collar mean and why language observations naturally sneak into my episodes.
I decided to stop making short standalone episodes and instead weave English insights into longer conversations.

I also talked about impostor syndrome, podcasts with guests, and why I’m sticking to audio-only for now.

In the end, it all came down to one idea: even if I’m not original and I’m just like everyone else, I still want to at least try to break the mold and do things my way.
