It's Like Eating Dessert for Breakfast

Dark chocolate is one of the best things ever created—so why not start your day with it? Of course, we need to add some fruit for balance. The rich, velvety chocolate paired with bright, juicy strawberries and citrusy orange creates a breakfast that feels indulgent but is still nourishing.
What you need
- 50g rolled oats
- 100ml milk
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 orange
- 6 strawberries
- 10g dark chocolate
- 1 tsp puffed amaranth (optional)
What you need to do
- Squeeze the orange and slice the banana into thin pieces.
- In a small pot or pan, combine the oats, milk, cocoa, banana slices, and freshly squeezed orange juice.
- Place over medium heat and cook for 5–10 minutes, stirring often to prevent burning, until the mixture thickens.
- Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl.
- Break the chocolate into four pieces and put them into the hot oatmeal so they melt.
- Chop the strawberries into small chunks and add them on top.
- Optionally, sprinkle with puffed amaranth, millet, or any other similar puffed grain for added texture.
